This indoor engagement styled shoot is happening at the Dwell Hotel in Chattanooga, Tennessee and the vibe is funky, eccentric, a little retro, and very iconic. Think bold patterns, rich textures, and punchy colors. This isn’t a ballroom. This isn’t a massive venue with perfect window light pouring in from every direction. This is about making magic in a small indoor space.

I’m going to walk you through exactly how I make a lot out of a little when it comes to indoor spaces, use indoor lighting (yes, even when it’s tricky) to create depth and drama, maximize posing so we’re not just standing around guessing what to do, and find pockets of light and texture that most people would totally overlook. We will turn “just a hotel lobby” into a full engagement gallery.
